The Business Intelligence and Data Solutions (BIDS) team is part of the College of Medicine–Tucson, the data and analytics arm at the college focused specifically on transforming institutional data into usable intelligence. We provide secure, reliable, and strategic data solutions, along with collaborative innovation aligned with the College’s current and future strategic goals. We support faculty, students, and staff across the College of Medicine–Tucson.

We assist with capturing, storing, managing, and analyzing data through standard processes or tailored solutions. Our services include custom process and development, data administration, processing and storage, business intelligence through standard and customized reports and dashboards, analytics support, and Qualtrics implementation with customization.

Typical engagement with the team includes:

• Building dashboards to monitor various metrics
• Managing and structuring datasets for reporting or accreditation
• Designing automated reports for leadership or compliance
• Supporting survey collection and evaluation analytics
• Automate, govern, and integrate data sources

All of these services are centered on enabling data-informed decision-making across the College of Medicine–Tucson.
