The Business Intelligence and Data Solutions (BIDS) team serves as the central data and analytics hub of the College of Medicine–Tucson, transforming institutional data into actionable intelligence through secure, reliable, and strategically aligned solutions.

We serve faculty, students, and staff across the College of Medicine–Tucson, offering expertise in the capture, storage, management, and analysis of institutional data. Our work encompasses both standardized processes and tailored solutions, including data administration, processing, and storage, as well as the development of business intelligence capabilities through standard and custom reporting, dashboards, analytics support, and data collection infrastructure.

Areas of Engagement

• Development of dashboards for ongoing monitoring of institutional metrics
• Management and structuring of datasets in support of reporting and accreditation requirements
• Design of automated reports for leadership, compliance, and operational use
• Implementation of survey instruments, data collection workflows, and evaluation analytics
• Automation, governance, and integration of data sources across College and University systems
